We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel comfortable.

Descending was magical. First, it was just a dark shape in the distance, then suddenly the structure appeared. It is enormous. The ship is now a bustling new home, covered in soft corals and teeming with marine life. We read more saw big groupers peeking from the hull, and lionfish patrolling the superstructure. The feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent vessel is hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling all at once. It truly is a piece of history under the water.

For any a certified diver visiting Con Dao and seeking an adventure more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough.
